This is a video of our main clinic in Denver, Colorado and this will be the same treatment at our Pittsburg location

Performance Spine & Sport

Performance Spine & Sport is satellite clinic of Dr. Ryan Tuchscherer’s Cherry Creek Spine & Sport Clinic , where since 2007 he has been taking care of professional athletes and weekend warriors.  He wanted to give back to the S.E.K. area and provide the same care as you can get in the big city.  So along with Clint McKinnis they opened up Performance Spine & Sport. Dr. William Bennetts is the primary treating doctor here and has studied under Dr. Tuchscherer and brought the same treatment the professionals in Denver get to the Pittsburg area.

For years we have treated soft-tissue and sports related injuries from the same old model.  Reach for the ibuprofen bottle, put an ice pack on the injured area, and avoid the activity that causes pain… These methods can be helpful in the short-term, but often fails to resolve the underlying cause of the condition. Performance Spine & Sport is a functional health clinic with a focus on improving not just your current medical condition but helping you improve your overall physical performance. Performance Spine & Sport treats a variety of soft tissue and sports injury conditions from a common sense approach. Instead of simply just focusing on pain management, we offer treatments that help restore the normal functional ability for the body to move, bend, and twist as nature intended. Our intention is to fix your injury, educate on cause, and instruct on how to prevent re-injury with specific rehab exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications.

Dr. Ryan Tuchscherer, D.C. is a leading chiropractor in the Denver area who specializes in soft tissue and sports related injuries. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Science at Kansas State University and went on to complete his doctoral studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, in San Jose California. He practiced there, treating an array of patients ranging from professional athletes to weekend warriors before moving to Denver to open up Cherry Creek Spine and Sport Clinic in 2007.  He treats many of the professional athletes in Denver and is also a treating Chiropractor on the PGA, Senior and Nationwide Tours.

Dr. Tuchscherer is originally from Fort Scott, where he owns and operates a cattle ranch and has always wanted to give back to the S.E.K area.  So he opened up Performance Spine & Sport with Clint McKinnis, to provide the S.E.K region the most cutting edge treatment available.  He has perfected over the years a complex treatment approach in Denver with the professional athletes and has passed this along to Dr. Will Bennetts to implement here in Pittsburg.

Dr. Tuchscherer is a credentialed full body certified Active Release Techniques (A.R.T) provider and a participating doctor in the Elite Provider Network (EPN). This is the highest level an Active Release Doctor can obtain through study, certification and testing with Dr. Michael Leahy, founder and developer of the technique.  A.R.T. has become one of most sought after soft-tissue treatments in the world today by professional athletes and every day individuals alike.
